2025 Roadside Cleanup - Checklist to Prepare for Roadside Cleanup

A supervisor must complete this form in the weeks leading up to your cleanup day.

Sign up for a Roadside Cleanup zone that does not exceed the capabilities of your participants (County recommends min. 2 participants per km).
 
Contact group members to obtain a commitment to participate. Participants must be 9 years of age or older. Supervisors must be 18 years of age or older.
 
Application/Commitment form filled out completely, signed, and submitted to the County of Grande Prairie by 4:30 pm on March 31, 2025.
 
Drive by the cleanup area and get information for training sessions.
 
Arrange orientation for all group participants.
 
Recruit shuttle drivers and vehicles. A truck is needed if collecting bagged garbage. Cover your load!
 
Designate a first-aid person who will be responsible for bringing a first-aid kit.
 
If you did not have the Date of Cleanup chosen on the registration form, contact Transportation & Utilities @ the County 780-532-7393 a week prior to your cleanup day.
 
The litter picking campaign will be completed by September 2025. If you are unable to have your zone cleaned in one day, you are required to advise Transportation & Utilities @ 780-532-7393.
 

UPON COMPLETION OF LITTER PICKING: return all vests and unused supplies to the Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management (Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm). No payment will be issued until this online form is completed and supplies are returned.
